Steven Roberts

Stephen is a commercially focused corporate lawyer with more than 20 years of transactional experience.

As a Partner at Gateley Plc, Stephen advised a broad range of clients, including public and private companies, private equity investors and owner managers on all aspects of corporate law.  His experience at Gateley included acting for J D Sports Fashion, Betfred, Mattioli Woods and City Football Group.  In addition to working closely with businesses and investors, Stephen is well used to advising and guiding owner managers on sale processes.

Prior to joining K3 Law, Stephen was General Counsel and a member of the management team at the national IFA group, Independent Wealth Planners.  During his time with IWP, Stephen oversaw every aspect of the group’s legal requirements, including acquisitions, the corporate restructuring of the group and the successful sale of the business to Titan Wealth.

Stephen has particular sector expertise in FCA regulated businesses (wealth management and insurance), retail, transport and sport.
