K3 Law advises AAC on Strategic Partnership with ENTRO
K3 Law has advised the shareholders of Aberdeen Alarm Company (AAC) on their partnership with ENTRO Service Group, a transaction that provides a platform for future growth while preserving the company’s leadership, culture and regional presence.
Founded in 2007 by Philip Lever and Gordon Brooks, AAC has established itself as a leading provider of fire and security solutions across Scotland. The business employs more than 50 people and operates from locations in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness and Edinburgh, delivering the design, installation, servicing and maintenance of integrated fire detection, alarm, CCTV and access control systems.
The transaction sees AAC join ENTRO Service Group, a European fire and security services platform backed by Levine Leichtman Capital Partners. The partnership supports ENTRO’s continued expansion into the UK market while enabling AAC to retain its brand, management team and operational independence.
By joining the wider group, AAC gains access to additional resources, strategic support and opportunities for expansion, while continuing to build on the reputation and customer relationships that have underpinned its success to date.
Philip Lever, Founder of AAC, commented:
“We were looking for a partner who understands our market and values long-term relationships. ENTRO provides strategic clarity and operational support, while allowing us to continue leading the business and building on our strong position in Scotland.”
The transaction reflects growing interest from international investors and strategic acquirers seeking to partner with established UK businesses that possess strong regional market positions, experienced management teams and long-standing customer relationships.
K3 Law advised the shareholders throughout the transaction, providing legal support and guidance from negotiation through to completion, helping the founders achieve an outcome that balanced growth opportunities with continuity for the business, its employees and customers.
