K3 Law advises Expervent on sale to MARCH
K3 Law has advised the shareholders of Expervent on the sale of the business to MARCH, a leading provider of critical engineering services operating across the UK.
Founded in 2014 and based in Jarrow, Expervent specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of ventilation systems, including Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) solutions. The business has developed a strong reputation for helping organisations manage airborne contaminants such as dust, fumes and gases, supporting safe and compliant working environments across a range of industrial sectors.
The acquisition sees Expervent join MARCH, one of the UK’s largest critical engineering services groups, with more than 20 locations across England and Scotland. The transaction strengthens MARCH’s engineering capability within regulated and safety-critical environments while providing Expervent with access to additional scale, resources and long-term growth opportunities.
A statement from MARCH said:
“Expervent’s deep LEV expertise strengthens MARCH’s wider engineering capability, supporting a broader turnkey offering in safety-critical and regulated environments.”
The statement added:
“For Expervent, joining MARCH brings added scale and shared support, while keeping the same specialist team and technical focus, creating a solid platform for sustainable growth.”
The transaction reflects continued consolidation within the engineering services sector, where specialist businesses with strong technical expertise are increasingly partnering with larger groups to expand capabilities, geographic reach and customer offerings.
K3 Law advised the shareholders throughout the transaction, providing legal support from negotiation through to completion and helping secure a successful outcome as the business embarks on its next phase of development.
