K3 Law advises on sale of Network Power Connections to TSG

K3 Law acted as legal adviser to the shareholders of Network Power Connections (NPC) on the sale of the business to TSG, the French-headquartered European leader in technical services for responsible mobility solutions and essential energy infrastructure.

About Network Power Connections

Founded in 2019 and based in Worcester, NPC is a NERS-accredited Independent Connection Provider, delivering complex grid connections and electrical infrastructure projects at voltages up to 11kV across the UK. Its services span design, project management, civil engineering, and cable jointing, serving commercial and industrial developments, warehousing, and EV charging hubs.

Over a relatively short time, NPC built a strong nationwide presence and long-standing relationships with a diversified customer base, establishing itself as a specialist business with genuine technical depth in the power connections market.

Supporting the shareholders through the transaction

The shareholders of NPC instructed KBS Corporate to seek a buyer capable of providing a strong platform for the business to continue its growth. Corporate advisory was led by George Barnes (Associate Director) and Fahad Latif (Transaction Associate) at KBS Corporate.

K3 Law, led by Poppy Ball, provided legal advice to the shareholders throughout the transaction, working alongside the deal team to bring it to a successful conclusion.

Joining TSG

The acquisition sees NPC become part of TSG’s growing UK operations. NPC will work closely with Skerritt Electrical, TSG’s Birmingham-based team, combining NPC’s recognised grid connection expertise with HV/LV infrastructure, EV charging, solar, and battery storage capability to deliver integrated turnkey electrical solutions.

The deal marks the second KBS Corporate-advised acquisition by TSG within six months, following its earlier purchase of multi-utility specialist Powertek. NPC will continue to operate under its existing brand as a TSG company.

Jean-Marc Bianchi, CEO of TSG, said:

“Part of our ambition to provide full integrated electrical solutions for essential energy infrastructures all over Europe, the acquisition of Network Power Connections marks a new step in the strengthening of our electrical infrastructure activities in the UK. NPC brings recognised grid connection expertise, NERS-accredited capabilities and experienced teams able to deliver complex projects across the country. By joining TSG, its teams will strengthen our ability to provide integrated energy solutions combining power connections, electrical infrastructure, EV charging, solar and battery storage, while creating strong synergies with Skerritt Electrical and our wider UK operations.”

A strong strategic outcome for NPC’s shareholders

The transaction delivers a strong home for NPC, pairing the business with a major European group that has the scale and ambition to support its next phase of growth, while preserving the specialist expertise and customer focus that underpinned its success as an independent business.

George Barnes of KBS Corporate said:

“NPC is a highly regarded business with specialist expertise in power connections and electrical infrastructure. TSG represented a strong strategic fit and provides an excellent platform for the business to continue its growth as part of a wider European group. It was a pleasure working with the shareholders and TSG to get the transaction completed.”
