K3 Law advises Powertek on sale to TSG

K3 Law has advised the shareholders of Powertek on the sale of the business to TSG UK Solutions, supporting a transaction that will accelerate the company’s growth ambitions and strengthen its position within the UK’s infrastructure and energy sectors.

Founded in 2015 and based in Paisley, Powertek is an award-winning multi-utility specialist providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services. The business has developed significant expertise in electrical grid connections, EV charging infrastructure and gas network upgrades, supporting major infrastructure and decarbonisation projects across the UK.

Through its team of more than 70 field and contract professionals, Powertek has established a strong reputation for delivering complex projects for clients operating within highly regulated and technically demanding environments.

The acquisition sees Powertek join TSG Group, an international provider of technical services and mobility solutions operating across Europe and Africa. The transaction provides the business with access to greater scale, additional resources and international expertise, creating a platform to support continued expansion across the UK market.
