K3 Law supports QUBE Automotive on sale to Total Specific Solutions

K3 Law has provided legal support on the sale of automotive software and IT solutions provider QUBE Automotive to Total Specific Solutions (TSS), in a transaction designed to accelerate the company’s growth strategy.

The deal was advised by KBS Corporate Associate Corporate Director Joe Norris, with K3 Law providing the legal expertise to help bring the transaction to a successful conclusion.

Supporting QUBE Automotive through the transaction

Founded in 2010 and based in Maidstone, QUBE provides international vehicle manufacturers across the UK and mainland Europe with software solutions for their aftersales, trade and purchase requirements, alongside bespoke development and consultancy services.

The company’s specialists operate across all areas of the automotive market, providing business intelligence data and web-based marketing and reporting systems to manufacturers and dealers.

K3 Law worked alongside QUBE and KBS Corporate throughout the transaction, providing legal support through to completion.

Accelerating QUBE’s growth strategy

QUBE has been acquired by Dutch-based vertical market software firm Total Specific Solutions, becoming its 12th company in the UK and Ireland and increasing its European automotive portfolio to six businesses.

Discussing the decision to join TSS, QUBE Managing Director Seamus O’Donnell said:

“To move forward with our growth strategy, we felt the backing of a larger company was needed.

“We looked at various options and decided TSS would be an ideal fit because they understand the importance of companies being close to their clients, as we are, to respond quickly to the changes in the markets they serve.”

QUBE Technical Director Matt Seymour added:

TSS is an international provider of IT business solutions comprising independent business units focused on specific vertical markets. It forms part of Topicus.com Inc., which is part of the ecosystem of global vertical business solutions provider Constellation Software Inc.
