Meet the Team: Poppy Ball, Legal Director

As part of our Meet the Team series, we’re introducing Poppy Ball, Legal Director at K3 Law.

Poppy advises clients on all aspects of corporate law, supporting businesses through mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, investments and wider strategic transactions. Having worked in corporate law for more than a decade, she brings significant experience advising businesses at key stages of growth and transition.

Before joining K3 Law, Poppy worked at both Gateley Legal and Shoosmiths, where she advised on a range of high-profile and complex transactions. During her time at Shoosmiths, she worked on the acquisition and delisting of French Connection Group Limited, as well as the management buyout takeover of Rotala Plc by way of scheme of arrangement. She also advised Evelyn Partners on acquisitions of LLP entities during this period.

At Gateley, Poppy advised on the initial private equity investment into Independent Wealth Planners UK Limited, alongside a series of bolt-on acquisitions that supported the group’s continued expansion.

Her experience across corporate transactions, combined with her commercially focused approach, allows her to guide clients through complex legal processes in a clear and pragmatic way. Poppy works closely with owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and investors, helping them navigate both the opportunities and challenges that come with growth and change.
